Some of the shouts like "I hope we get battered" etc are bound to rile people

I'm old enough to remember both Everton and the shite winning the league. You would be crazy to not want mc to win.

Not sure why anybody would want us to get battered. A narrow 1 goal defeat and a strong performance would be enough.

Hate the Europa League but finishing below Spurs & United is not to be taken lightly.

Me too.  Remember throwing it away at the last minute, to that lot, 85/86?  Remember the European ban?  Remember our cup final and semi-final defeats?  This is fuck all.  We're not handing them anything.  They're not taking anything from us.  They're the ones who carry on like this when it isn't really about them -- Blackburn?  Remember that?  Pathetic.

I remember the 80's aswell and I couldn't bear Liverpool to win the league. But there is no way in hell I would want or hope for everton to lose any game. I genuinely hope we win this, secure 5th spot, stay in with a very very outside chance of 4th, and let Liverpool and the league look after themselves.
