Strange one though as he'll be playing in the ACN soon and obviously Ivory Coast are up there as one of the favourites, it's not like he can help the injury crisis now.

Apparently they wanted to get him next summer but thought might as well do it now and have him for the run in.

Good signing to be honest especially as pellegrini likes 2 up front and he will provide a more consistent threat and hold up play than dzeko. On his day dzeko is great but if not quite at the races then no way near the same player.

Suso has had a medical at Milan. Will join for free in the summer, or for a nominal fee this window.

Didn't he do really well in Spain last season? Great business by Brendan again.

Rumours are he has a bit of a big spuds attitude. Suso, not Brendan, though probably true as well.

He always seemed on of these players with a bit of a screw loose. Liverpool rumoured to be looking at signing song wonder if west ham lining up a replacement?

No such thing as a free.

Ģ8 fucking million.

When people say look at bosmans because they are free it's just not true because they are free players and agents definitely demand more money than if a fee was being paid for them.

People are getting less and less keen to sell players or lose players and people don't want to just splash cash around anymore to convince people to sell. So unless a player is desperate to leave, a club wants to sell or teams are desperate to get some players in not that much happens. Us like most clubs would rather wait until the summer for many reasons if they can do.

I thought last year's dildo stunt was hilarious. It was a perfect send up of the hyperbole SSN whips up every time deadline day comes around.

It was going to happen eventually too many reporters by the end of the night were inside the ground away from the fans so it might as well have been something like that to end it!

He looked alright early on and was barely a bit part player once we got players back from injury and bought players in January.

He'd have been better of staying in England.

Don't think he could to be honest. His attitude was meant to have been awful, refusing to go on loan to good championship clubs competing for promotion, talk of him telling younger players he didn't need to bother with reserve football because he had played in the first team etc. Then when he finally did go out on loan after a few weeks and games he gets sent back.

Certainly didn't lack talent, not necessarily good enough for the top level but certainly shouldn't be being sent back by a poor championship club and in my opinion he had a poor attitude and didn't have the heart to make it in England, combined with his belief of where he was he wouldn't be going down the leagues.

What a prick David Gold is. Had to apologise to fans for tweeting 'don't go to bed', and then failing to pull off a shite deal for Adebayor who they didn't need anyway.

That was a kenwright type moment that. Convince fans it must be happening only to bring extra disappointment when it doesn't. Just keep quiet, if it happens great and if it doesn't nobody expected it anyway.

Bet he can wait to link up with Danny 'fatty' Ings.

I think he'll also be an expensive flop. Or he'll be a roaring success and they'll have to sell him for 50m in a years time.

Lots of mouth-breathers on facebook saying they got him ahead of Man Utd. Seriously, If Man Utd really wanted him they have gotten him.

Uņited were definitely looking at him and yes if they'd desperately wanted him they'd have got him. My guess would be they thought they have got a young prospect with talent in depay, so probably would rather go for a bigger more established name like a bale next.
