Vardy signs four year deal at Leicester, about 3 years of which his main asset will be gone.

Yeah saw this being dressed up as some sort of coup, whereas thereís been no interest in him for 2 years.

Must be creaming £150k well into mid 30s now. Sensational deal for him.

I actually think Mourinho is the problem and players at the top do not want to play for him.

Yes if youíre already a top player, if heís having a wobble like now, would you risk going there only for him to leave in 3 months?

But Woodward is awful at the football side of things. Canít see how he would connect emotionally with players other than saying come and play for Utd.

£300k a week to keep the bench warm? Not a chance they're signing him on that unless they're playing him

Amazed if that doesnít include signing on fee.

If does that equates to about £20m fee and £150k pw which is pretty standard at that level.

Think someone said that he needs to decide if he wants to be a footballer or a golfer.

Ruben neves, willy bolly are championship standard players you reckon?

Itís nothing to do with their pulling power. Itís all to do with agents, and theyíve already shown they can get players well above their level.

Rui patricio for one wouldíve had a lot of clubs after him, but he ends up at wolves because thatís where the agents want him to go.

Iíll be interested to see how much Wolves actually get from any subsequent sales of Neves etc.

Yeah Iíd say that he hasnít got the volume of goals vs dross that would have forced a move a lot earlier.

No one's paying that kind of money even in a swap for Bale given his injury record, age and the wages he'd want. That means Real think he's worth £75m for a player they don't want who'll manage about 25-30 games a season for a couple of more years before his pace etc drops off the cliff.

*Sanchez*

Reports that Messi has asked the Board to get him back.

The president said the other day that they know he wants to come back but that PSG donít want to sell.

Presume missing training is in response to that stance.
