Bit upset about this Karius business. Had my heart set on him to be our new no. 1

This is what the new TV deal means: far from ushering in a new era of PL dominance over European competitors, it basically amounts to hyper-inflation.

Is he actually good? All I know about him is he has a poor disciplinary record.

Quite upset about this Gundogan deal. One of my favourite (non-Everton) players. Would much rather see him playing for a proper European grandee than some nouveau riche upstarts like City.

Man Utd in talks for Eric Bailly according to 'Sky sources'.

Presumably Mourinho has moved on from John Stones then.

Just reading about him.

He has one full season under his belt and they're talking about a 30m fee.

This is the market we're operating in now. Bonkers.

Aubameyang doesn't really strike me as a Guardiola player. Interesting one.

I've got a feeling this transfer window is going to be quite depressing.

And also didn't they just say earlier today that hiring Guardiola was part of their strategy to move towards a youth development model?

Well good luck Ieanacho. You're welcome to join Koeman's revolution.

Talk intensifying that Juventus will steal Pjanic from Roma.

That would be a brilliant, Bayern-esque transfer.

Blame financial fair play. Roma have to find 30 million Euros by the end of the month to avoid being sanctioned.

Still, this is the ideal transfer: he adds league know-how, tactical versatility, goals, assists, dead-ball threat and midfield control, with the added benefit of weakening a rival and setting an important precedent that if you want to achieve anything in Italy you will play for us - all for a bargain price.

It will be outstanding business if it comes off.

Me neither. Inconsistent, big time attitude, poor disciplinary record and he can't pass the ball.

He's good at a specific job in a specific system but I don't think he's 'good' in the general sense.

It's all very well buying a player to fit in to their system but Leicester need to think about changing that system because teams will approach them differently next season and it won't work in the Champions League.

30 million is an outrageous price. If Leicester have 30 million to spend on one player and Troy Deeney is the best they can find then it only confirms my belief they'll be back in mid-table no-mans-land next season.
