450m deal including transfer, bonuses and salary, football's lost it's mind.

It'll surely get to the stage that the fees will out strip the benefit of spending that much the player, where are a team like PSG going to recoup all that money to make it worthwhile investing that much in one player?

Sounds like this could go on for a while yet. La Liga have rejected Neymar's lawyers attempt to pay the buy out clause.

Yeah, I think the Premier League clubs are voting on it in September as most seem to be in favour of it. Sooner it happens the better.

Tipped to be the 'Scottish Bale' wasn't he? Be interesting see how he gets on there, might have suited a more attacking side like Palace?

I don't know if the move to Germany did him much good, he went there with pretty big expectations from people? He's not made the full Scotland squad for a while either but he's been named in the U21's which maybe isn't a bad thing to play at that level for a while, he's only 20 so has plenty time. Not sure what Pulis as a manager will be like for him though?

Snodgrass away to Villa on loan. That's another one that can be filed under "shite West Ham transfers".

I quite like him but 13 goals and 18 assists in 164 games is pretty poor.

It's awful for a team that a) scores lots and b) is always at the top end of the table.

He's still in the "potential" stage of his career which is odd as he's been around for ages now.

Be interesting to see if they fix him in a position and what that does.

Yeah, although at 164 appearances (admittedly a lot would be as a sub) then the "potential" line can't be used for much longer. Much like Barkley, regardless of age he's now a very experienced Premier League player.

Sanchez to stay at Arsenal and VVD to stay at Southampton.

I wonder if player power is slowly swinging the other way?

The clubs are so awash with money that they can happily dig their heels in rather than give in to their demands. There's a few have handed in transfer requests or had a strop but don't look like getting their moves. Dealing with a disgruntled player is a separate issue, but financially the clubs aren't so open to getting their pants pulled. And even if a player is disgruntled, if they're involved in a major championship in the summer then they'll need to knuckle down rather than training with the reserves for a season.

Sky desperate to make an issue of Aaron Ramsey's #shaambles tweet even though they've explained and now he has that it's a nickname for AOC.

There's more breaking news on deals not happening than anything else.

Breaking News, Jonny Evans isn't moving to Man City.

Jack Rodwell's Sunderland contract terminated by mutual consent. It fair to say things haven't worked out for him.

Norwich have deserved that.

Willian playing a dummy five yards from goal at 1-0 lolol

Do you want to move this to the Today's Football or shall I do it? ;)

Aye, I think whenever they score now they sing "who the fuck are Man Utd".
