Adrian was gobbing off at every one of our takers when he was in the net. Ref should have told him to shut up.

Fucking gutted. We didn't deserve that. Very proud of the team tonight. God help any of the doomsayers if they come on and slag the team off tonight

Not saying that he's not a good keeper or after the match he deserved to be in the winning side. But Robles was very poor in the Penalty shootout. Heart breaking for us but quite made up with the fight we showed the last 65 mins or so.

MOTM by a country mile.

Well played Everton, on the bright side it clears the way to win the Europa League.

Ah unlucky, most fight we have shown all season though and we can be proud of our efforts

Joel had a great game and Mirallas was superb when he came on

Don't want to dwell on the negatives and I'm not blaming him but McGeady can seriously fuck off. Tread carefully when you are on a yellow, and Id be quite happy for him to tread carefully when on a yellow at another club
You think Lou Bega knocked it out of the park with Mambo number 1?!No but he kept at it!

A performance full of grit I didn't think we had anymore under Martinez, gutted we went out, we didn't deserve to but I have become more positive about this team under Martinez of late and this has really helped continue that.

Nice to see the grit but we're still so poor at the back. Neither of their goals would've happened last season.

We've come down in the world here, only way is up.

sickner. especially when their keeper was acting the prick. Good to see Rom and mirallis back on top form. Hope it doesnt knock Joels confidence after he played so well. Balls

McGeady needs to be cast out, never felt this much resentment towards an Everton player in all my life, he is stinking the gaff out at the minute.

Sometimes you do not get what you deserve in football. Total pride in that performance.
Evertonian ever since Andy King smashed the ball past Ray Clemence
