Most people have been praising Joel, like they should. Really hope his pen miss doesnt dent his confidence

He'll be fine, he's there to stop goals not score them. There's a spirit there again you could see it at the end and no one will let him get his head down.

Think the reaction he got from our fans at the end will give him a boost.

Yeah, they were pretty much allowed to do what the fuck they liked.

Amalfitano's push on Baines was a disgrace.

Horrible club, horrible players, horrible fans, horrible place, big-faced manager.

I stupidly commented after the first half that the ref was having a good game too. How Andy Carroll managed to end the game without even picking up a booking is fucking ridiculous.

Everyone excellent except McGeady who played quite well in the first half but should be fined by Everton for that senseless brainless tackle when on a yellow. Fortunately he will miss a game. Superb spirit, anything like this in Europa and we could go far. The same level of performance will see us climb the league.

David James has been screwed out of every penny and is insolvent. May that continue as long as he lives.

But unfortunately BT Sport are giving the bellend a lifeline.

The more David James talks the less I think he really knows.

Michael Owen's commentary was also quite a struggle to get through.

McGeadys's fault the stupid twat.

This was a momentum swinger. We manage to win gay and it galvanises our season. But how on earth do you pick the already-bereft-of-confidence squad after a defeat like that???

So so awful, largely mcgeadys fault.

Michael Owen's commentary was also quite a struggle to get through.

I actually warmed to him a bit, he was complimentary about the team and very complimentary to the fans....rest it he was reading off a bit of paper mind..

What did calamity James say?
.........said Robles was 2 yards off his line for every pen. Nothing about Adrian play acting all the time. We shouldn't be harsh on Robles ,his pen hit the underside of the bar and bounced out.
We are special ,we are Everton.
