At the moment scores tonight at Villa and Hull  both 1-1 is good for us. It's come to something when we have to watch results from teams beneath us.  :headbang:
We are special ,we are Everton.

Would love us to just be in a 442 these 433 formations are encouraging sideways passing amongst the midfield

Midfield of Lennon on the right, Barry and McCarthy centre and Mirallas on the left would be purposeful

"Everton are a dirty team" From a fucking Stoke fan!

Their idea of 'dirty team' is fundamentally different - it roughly equates to watching Xavi, Iniesta and Messi playing the ball intricately on the ground and scoring a worldy.

We only played on Sunday. Wonder if we have prepared for this?  Someone should ask Luke.

Anything less than a win at the Britannia Stadium would leave Everton on their lowest points total of the Premier League era after 28 games and, adopting three points for a win, with fewest points at that stage of a season since 1926-27.

I wonder if he will play 2 wingers tonight? Or, will he play Osman on the left?
Yes, we're being condescending. Yes, that means we're talking down to you.

Hope tonights team is:-

Howard
Coleman Jags Stones Garbutt
Lennon Barry McCarthy Mirralas
Gibson
Lukaku

I think Nais needs to be on the bench for this................Mo, Ross, Osman, Nais, Kone would be all good options top come on if needed.

If he is still here i think we should forget the prediction league next season have a predicted starting XI tournament!

My guess for tonight is;

              Howard

Coleman Stones Jags Baines

              Barry

 Mccarthy  Gibson

                             Naismith

Lennon     Lukaku

It can't be ignored some of the threats they have from set pieces so people like Naisy normally preferred in these games. Plus he didnt start on Sunday which makes me think definitely have him and Lennon in there somewhere.

Naismith has his limitations but he's a warrior. Against Stoke he must play!

Whatever happens the fucking doomsayers need to be realistic about the form Stoke are in and leave off labelling every opponent in the League as being shit . They have shown they can defend well and we couldn't break them down at home and to beat them on their own patch we will need to be quick to the ball all over  the pitch . I would start Kone and Naismith up front and bring Lukaku on out wide later in the game . Lennons energy would also come in handy closing down the space we leave between our front man/men ( I think Mirallas has lost interest in us ) and help Coleman get forward more than he has been doing . This is not an easy game in the slightest . Besic should love this sort of game also .

I expect something along the likes of:

---------------------Howard---------------------
Coleman--------Jags---------Stones--------Garbutt
---------------------Barry-----------------------
-------------McCarthy-------Gibson--------------
Lennon------------------------------------Naismith
---------------------Lukaku----------------------

This is assuming Baines is still injured.
