i'd go two up top, make the game open and go for goals. Fuck it, let's finish the season with a bit of swagger, and a late goal from Ryan Ledson to make it 5-2 to top it off.
Jeff: That's not the way to win.
Kathie: Is there a way to win?
Jeff: There's a way to lose more slowly.

Last season, we'd gone unbeaten at home in 2013 and then we came up against Sunderland on boxing day...

Farcical game that was.

Our tickets are up for grabs again today, anyone close to the Runcorn area then feel free to come and get them. I'll swap them for a bevvy and a bag of Haribo's for the boy.

Earlier in the season, Sunderland's strike force was Jozy Altidore, Stephen Fletcher, Danny Graham and Connor Wickham.

Has there ever been a less prolific strike force than that shower of absolute unadulterated shite?

There may not be many Sunderland fans, the M62 has been closed for a few hours both ways. My daughter has abandoned coming to the match from York. She is stuck on the motorway.

they'll probably be more entertained on the motorway than at Goodison anyway

going to be a typical end of season bore fest

Is that our most attacking bench ever?

Good side, that side should have played last week

Is Lennon starting?  Making sure I don't have to change Prediction League.

And fuck me, somebody had to bring up 2013 Boxing Day.  Fucking Sunderland, man.

Pienaar's dead, but Ossie has risen.  I should go with Ossie as first scorer to be sentimental.  But gonna stick with Lennon.

What a load of bollocks on BT claiming Sunderland have sold out the away section. They must have handed back the whole upper away section as there was still tickets available yesterday to home fans.
