Bournemouth

Despite losing a two goal lead, Bournemouth put an end to a run of four straight defeats in the Premier League and five defeats overall with a 2-2 draw away to Swansea City last weekend. As a result ofndropping two points from a winning position in that last match, Bournemouth have now dropped more points from winning positions (9) than any other team in the league this season. The Cherries have scored five of their 14 goals this season in the opening 15 minutes of games which is a league-high and they've scored 71% of all their goals in the first half, another league-high. Matt Ritchie has two assists in 13 Premier League appearances this season and since the start of last season, only Cesc Fabregas (20) has provided more assists than Ritchie (19) in the top four tiers of English football. Bournemouth have been marred with long term injuries this season with the most notable inclusions being: their captain and main centre-back, Tommy Elphick; their record signing, Tyrone Mings; their top scorer, Callum Wilson; and their most creative outlet, Max Gradel.

Bournemouth currently have three former Everton players in their squad with Dan Gosling (pictured above) and Sylvain Distin likely to line up against Everton for the first time since leaving the club, whilst Christian Atsu is receiving about as much game time as he did under Roberto Martinez last season. Bournemouth currently sit 9th in the league table with just two wins to their name and those came against Sunderland at home (2-0) and West Ham away (4-3) but they've not won in any of their last seven league matches (D2, L5) and have failed to keep a clean sheet in the process which is the joint worst current run alongside Swansea. Although most of Bournemouth's stats are middle of the road, they have created 129 chances on goal this season which is 11 more than Everton have produced and 29 more than Manchester United.

Possible Line-Ups

Everton

Everton won back to back league matches at Goodison Park for the first time since April when they demolished Aston Villa 4-0 last weekend. With those four goals, Everton have now scored 16 goals in seven league matches at home this season which is the second highest in the league behind Manchester City (20), but only Newcastle (12) and West Brom (13) have conceded more goals at home. Romelu Lukaku's two goals against Aston Villa made it seven goals from his last seven Premier League matches and puts the Belgian just one short of his league tally from last season (10). The only three meetings between these sides came in cup competition and Everton were victorious in all three with the Toffees scoring 10 goals overall and winning 2-0 in the sole away fixture thanks to strikes from Kevin Richardson and Gary Lineker in the second round of the 1985/86 Milk Cup.

Everton have the best chance to goal conversion rate in the Premier League this season, scoring with around one in five of their shots on goal (20%) which means Ross Barkley is letting the side down with his 14% conversion rate, but the England midfielder is still having his best season to date. Barkley has five goals to his name in the league so far which is just one fewer than the amount he scored two seasons ago, having already eclipsed last season's total, whilst his tally of four assists doubles that of the last two seasons combined. Despite the sigure dropping from last season, only four players (Sanchez, Hazard, Mahrez and Zaha) and completed more Take-Ons this season than Barkley (32). Barkley has directly contributed to nine league goals this season (5 goals, 4 assists) which if the fifth highest in the league behind Vardy (14), Lukaku & Mahrez (13) and Ozil (12).

Be nice to nick a game we didn't deserve to win. Have we done that this season in the league?

Arguably West Brom.

I think it's pretty obvious we're not going to win, there's too many people expecting us to win.

14 matches in and Lukaku has already equaled his league goals from last season. 10 fucking goals already.

Deulofeu, absolute game changer this season.

Terrible second half performance, just let them come on to us.

Criminal to concede a goal like that after scoring so late.

Only Everton.
