Oh alright hard-arse, pardon me for asking, you raised a point - i followed it up and now its a no go.
For all we know the 45 quarter final appearances is the worst record in the competitions history then.

Don't know if we still are but not long ago I think we'd been to more FA cup quarter finals than any other team. We have had the 3rd most FA cup semi finals, we've got to more semi finals than Liverpool for instance but they've won it two more times than us....

Personally think we've looked a lot more solid recently.

Especially compared to how we've looked at times this season. We've gotta show consistency with it though.

Be interesting to see how Robles does with a good sustained spell in the side.

No question in my mind that we have been more solid, but I think it is equally clear we have sacrificed some of our attacking flair. Still think there is a better balance to be struck between the two extremes.

Evertonian in NC

I will give RM credit - McCarthy DID get his head together and was much more effective in the 2nd half.  Seemed mad at the time to leave him on, but what do I know.

Still that first half might be the worst half of footy I've ever seen one Evertonian ever have, non-Alcaraz category.

45 quarters
25 semis
13 finals

Not far off a 50/50 split between winning and losing in each of the rounds.

(Assuming the 45 qfs are fa cup, cause stats for the league cup are hard to find).

So take a 50/50ish stat how your optimism/pessimism finds it

Give those five a very hard look at.
We managed to concede 9 in just 3 of the 'other' of those games this season.

But I must say, I think he's great

Yeah a nice tidy player, but he's English, ex Utd and a lot didn't appreciate him or want him before he came and that won't be forgotten.
