I'm surprised that there are so few left considering we were given an allocation of 32,000 and so far only season ticket holders have been able to purchase 1 ticket each.

Surely we don't have 31500 season ticket holders - all of whom have bought a ticket?

I suppose there will be all the hospitality people as well. So if someone has a couple of tables in a suit that seat four each they'll be allowed eight tickets. It'll not be a massive amount but I dare say between the boxes and suits there could be another 1000 tickets there. Will employees get a ticket as well? That could add a few especially if they get a couple or so.

All speculation but it still makes a mockery that a 90k seater stadium still restricts "fans" of the club involved to about 65k

So true. The figures for champions league finals are even worse. You're looking at 10 to 15 thousand per team in stadiums that hold at least 70,000.

Not that we need to be concerned by that....

Plus at least 1,000 for the various sponsors.

There are 17,500 Club Wembley seats. The stadium debt was refinanced last year, but the FA are sitting on 225m of debt, and the Club Wembley 10 year debentures are up for renewal next year which should be interesting as it apparently makes up 12% of the FA's turnover.

Another 6,500 seats go to the FA, Football League, and to the press and media.

Shareholders as well.

I'd imagine players get access to tickets for family members and things like that.

Just seen 4 of the sections that were still available closed out now, can't be more than a hundred or so left which I am sure will all be gone within the hour.

There will be an announcement on Wembley tickets later. If there are any seats remaining, they will not go on sale today. We'll update asap.

Every club that enters the FA Cup is entitled to at least tickets tickets - right down to first prelim round!

Is fair enough.
