'Best squad in a generation' doesn't look too strong at the minute.

It finished 5th 2 years ago.

The squad is decent. Unfortunately the manager has lost the plot.

Deulofeu has to come on before UTD get a second goal.

He seems like the only person who is capable of creating something out of nothing.

Whos 2nd just so Ive an idea who hes beaten in this competition.

Does it matter?

The guy is 2nd only to Sergio Aguero for goals scored in the premier league in the last 3 seasons FFS.

I think if people are gonna say hes our best sriker for 25 years there should be the context of just how utterly shite our strikers have been in that time. Hes a very good premier league goalscorer. The hype on here about him is ridiculous though. A better version of drogba he is not and never will be. Hes not fit to lace drogbas boots. Thats not an insult cos Drogba was a brilliant brilliant player.

Does comparing him to other current premier league strikers not give it any kind of context either?

Nobody had even heard of Drogba until he was 25 years old. You are seemingly happy to write off a 22 year old Lukaku despite him being a prolific goalscorer.
