Today was the perfect result! We all want Martinez exposed as the fraud he is but we love the team...the players tried hard but are so shackled by inept tactics and a crisis in confidence that its all huff and puff...if we had won Martinez would've been beaming and saying how "we had a great week of training and the players are buying into his vision"

The only positive I can take from that game is that Robles looked decent.
We are special ,we are Everton.

I hope everyone has their post-match bullshit bingo sheet ready.

I could do with a laugh. Quite looking forward to it.

He hasn't done anything to deserve a start over early Deulofeu and Lennon.

Should have been starting over Kone and Cleverly. And it is kind of hard to prove that you should be playing when you don't get playing time.

I really haven't mate, I'd never be happy with Everton losing.

Obviously I'm not happy with 1 point in 12 either.

I'd go back and search but I can't be arsed. Obviously you haven't said "great result!" but every time it's been "well United/Arsenal/West Ham are a top side and we ran them close just one of those things" type comments.

In isolation you might have been right.

I'm asking you to reflect on the games not in isolation. How can you continue to downplay what's going on at the club?

What has he done other than run around a bit and get sent off recently?.

He hasn't been played recently, that's the whole point. When he is played however, and given a decent amount of time he scores or assists invariably. He started against Villa away last month and got two assists.

You should know this if you've followed Everton for any amount of time - go and have a look at his stats.

We are sleep walking into danger here without even realising it.

What was the last good game Mirallas had as a starter?

Man of the match performance against Villa last month, and two assists.

not this season we're not

and as if the noise out of people is "not realising it"

that's like when every single person praised Lee Carsley and called him the unsung hero!

Steinbeck's maxim: “Socialism never took root in America because the poor see themselves not as an exploited proletariat but as temporarily embarrassed millionaires.”.

Still no 40 points and a defeat mid week could put us 15th, an area Booby should feel comfortable in.

To be fair to Benitez, in my eyes relegating Newcastle will be the greatest achievement of his managerial career.

Just to clear things up we need 4 more points from the remaining 7 games to avoid relegation.

It's creeping up on us, isn't it?

Very small chance it happens, but still. There's no way in hell we should be down where we are.

And when you think about it. This season, we were a bad Lukaku injury away from being in the relegation battle. That's all it would have took.
