Lads, you can't just take someone off at half time because they're on a yellow.

Agreed. Barry's played his entire career on a yellow. It's completely brainless and it's ridiculous to lay into Martinez for that.

So are people seriously saying that whenever McCarthy gets a first half yellow, he's got to be hooked at HT?

Barca need a goal in the last 5 minutes or they're going out.

Rom's attitude and body language have been appalling.

At least there was a semblance of spirit and teamwork in that second half. Too little, too late like.

Let's be honest it really didn't matter if we took 0, 1 or 3 points tonight.

You're a bit gutted we didn't lose aren't you?

Against two teams that are below us as well!

It's obviously better than losing like.

But we need to remember that these players should always be able to produce the odd bit of decent play.

Are people really expecting us to be completely pathetic and therefore when it's sort of ok, this then gets classed as a decent performance, regardless of who it is against?

I think that last sentence basically summarises the entirety of the case for the defence (of Martinez).

No it doesn't.

Seems to me like it does from some of the arguments being put forward on other threads.

No i don't think it does really, but it is quite a nice witty comment and I'm sure it will get some likes.

Wasn't witty at all, I feel like the argument for the defence has been unbelievably weak. I don't see you putting any constructive arguments together. A lot of 'beep' action like. Loads of that.
