So why did Neil Lennon take the job then?

Because that's his level.

Managed in the Champions League, beat top teams, yet Scottish Championship is his level?

(Yes he was shit at Bolton but they where in administration)

Managed in the Champions League by default. Free pass into Europe every year for Celtic. You simply can't judge a manager's credentials by what they do at Celtic or Rangers. After all Graeme Souness is the closest thing any old Firm manager has come to success in England.

I think Barton has been telling other Rangers players that they're not as good as they think they are. Coming from him that is some insult.

Can it still be called a major honour? Is any professional league a major honour whatever the standard?

You would assume if they are employing Gerrard they are prepared to back him. If that backing isn't forthcoming Gerrard could leave with his reputation unscathed.

Always going to happen as soon as they drew a half-decent side in the qualifiers.

So after signing a ton of players already and spending a lot of money (in terms of the Scottish league), Gerrard thinks they need to sign more players  ::) going to be a shit chequebook manager clearly

He's just aware of the main advantage his club have over all other clubs in the league; nothing wrong with that.

Someone on here once described Steve Clarke as looking like a functioning alcoholic. Still makes me laugh every time I see him.

Neil Lennon suspended by Hibs. Sounds like there's been a bit of an altercation with players and possibly Leeann Dempster the chief executive and his sacking his imminent.

I wonder who he'll blame now? Apparently some of his backroom staff have stuck by him as well and refused to take the team which is either brave or daft as I can't see Lennon getting another job any time soon as he's simply more hassle than he's worth.

Neil Lennon working with a female CEO. Sounds like the pitch for a seventies sit-com.

Is Graeme Souness the most successful ex old firm manager in England with his one FA Cup, one League Cup and one promotion?

Wonder what kind of living he's made. Would he have earned more spending his career at the likes of say Norwich or Middlesboro. Would Celtic play up to his image and pay him more than he's worth.
