Big Ronald saying he's only going to make 2/3 changes tops from the first 11 for this game. Wants to take it seriously, and wants to keep building the fitness and the combinations in the first team:

http://www.evertonfc.com/news/2016/08/22/koeman-taking-the-cup-seriously

Two things he said in that interview, struck me in particular. '“I like to win every competition and we will take it very seriously,” Koeman said. Nothing about cup runs and nonsense. Just plain basic statements about winning competitions right from the off.

“They are in the recovery period and need to work hard,” Koeman explained. “The injury to Mo is longer-term than it is for Pennington, but both are working hard, both are in every day and they are seeing the other players.” Does this signify that Martinez kept injured players segregated from the squad? What were Martinez's words? 'They are back in the group'. All geared to keeping people integrated within the main squad? Plain and simple from Koeman and above all common sense.
Steinbeck's maxim: “Socialism never took root in America because the poor see themselves not as an exploited proletariat but as temporarily embarrassed millionaires.”.

I've always found this. Should be able to wriggle around to an empty seat nearby without obstructed view - just wait till kick-off so no-one turns up.

I moved from an "unobstructed view" seat I the upper gwladys about ten years ago before I got my season ticket. The seat I moved to was boss.

For the next game I bought that seat. It was sold as an obstructed view but was better than those who weren't deemed obstructed!

Front row of family enclosure is classed as an obstructed view.... £1 off for both me and the little one.. Every penny counts haha
It's truly awful there, you can't see over the hoardings. I used to sit 5 rows back though and it was boss.

Be plenty of seats to move into
I like my coffee how I like my women, with 2 e's in them.

Ive only ever sat in the main stand or the park end, gonna make the drive down tomorrow for the cup game and want to try the gwladys street end. I know it wont be the same gwladys atmosphere you get some Saturdays but which do people prefer; upper or lower? and any reason for the preference?

I'm not going to predict a team, but I would not be surprised to see us bring another keeper in soon, and Joel will never play for the club again. Stek will start tomorrow.

Davies and Dowell in the U23 game tonight, so presumably not considered for this game. Shame :(
Jeff: That's not the way to win.
Kathie: Is there a way to win?
Jeff: There's a way to lose more slowly.

How long is Coleman out for?

Not been confirmed but seemed like at least until after the international break.

This is the kind of game Deulofeu absolutely bosses.
I knew that someday I was going to die, and I knew that before I died, two things would happen to me. That number one; I would regret my entire life, and number two; that I would want to live my life over again.
