So based on an interest free loan of 300m over 40 years..

We would pay 7.5m to finance loan and 4.4m to council... isn't that equivalent to something like 60% apr?

That's not even accounting for interest in loan...

Hmmmmm. Not 100% on numbers just off the top of my head...
60% APR would mean we were paying 60% of the cost of the loan(180m) in interest EVERY YEAR! So no, it isn't anything close to that.

Chill Winston.

The next couple of tv deals will effectively pay off the outstandingly finance on the stadium should we choose to do so.

This is of course assuming the nrxt tv deals follow the current trend of increase....

All I'm worried about is what's Dixie going to say about this?

Win-win deal for everyone. The People's club.
Well there may be no score, but there's certainly no lack of excitement here. As you can see, Nietzsche has just been booked for arguing with the referee. He accused Confucius of having no free will, and Confucius he say, "Name go in book". And this is Nietzsche's third booking in four games.

Sorry, I see what you mean.

Yea maybe I'm not seeing something.

Still basically a really big mortgage.

Yea but 60% apr seems like we are getting massively ripped off...

Not that I know the going rate for borrowing millions of pounds..

At what stage can we expect artists impressions (or even an idea of what it's going to look like) until then it's hard to get excited

It's not though.
APR is annual, not over the full term.
It's the interest calculated each year for the amount of loan you have outstanding for that year, each year you owe less so pay less interest. In the first few years 80% of that 14m might be just for interest, as the years go on more and more of that 14m will be paying the capital off.

The actual APR average would be around 2 - 3%.
Based on them figures

Yea scrub that... actually took the time to work it out and as an interest payment 4.4m would be the best part of fuck all.. oops

don;t know much about the costs of building a stadium but does 300m sound a bit low especially given the location? Is moshiri going to put his own money towards the build or does he just splash out on the land, I know he has basically cleared our debt which obviously looks good when we go to borrowing more money, all this money thing gives me an ed ache really

Only just got back in, tried watching SSN and reading the Echo and the last 10 pages on here,

any mention if this will have any impact on future investment of players, and that last echo bit about 50k seater  ( wont there be some form of safe standing by 2021---only a thought)
