Looking good... 🤞

Everton are “expected to be awarded” planning approval for their new stadium in October, a major document has revealed.

The Liverpool City Region Combined Authority have today released their post-COVID-19 Economic Recovery Plan and the Blues' proposed new ground at Bramley-Moore Dock is a key part of their vision.

“The development of a new football stadium for Everton Football Club at Bramley-Moore Dock will bring investment and regeneration to an area of Liverpool that has lacked both for many years,” the report says, this morning.

“It is an essential part of the Liverpool Waters development, as falls within the Mersey Enterprise Zone, not far from the Ten Streets creative cluster.”

“Planning consent is anticipated to be awarded in October 2020,” the report details.

Etc.

If we were NFL we'd be called The Everton 99ers

Work due to start in August according to the old Bird App
I knew that someday I was going to die, and I knew that before I died, two things would happen to me. That number one; I would regret my entire life, and number two; that I would want to live my life over again.

As far as I’m aware (from a legal perspective - someone I know in the game) that work is underway, but not exactly PR worthy shovel in the ground type of thing.
