I work right next to United Utilities on the dock road, there's 3 pubs over the road, all closed down years ago like, but they're in an ideal location, 5 minute walk away from Bramley Moore

Wonder which one will become a wetherspoons?

Slightly off topic but Wetherspoons are in the process of rebranding their business and plan on opening more coffee shops than pubs over the next few years

If there's one thing we don't need in this country it's coffee shops ran by wetherspoons.

Haven't Spurs made their capacity so it's one seat more than the Emirates?

That's great if so.

Picture is from Andersons regeneration summit yesterday.

I'll take it hahaha

See, this is what happens when people moan constantly about the ground being a bowl.

32k season tickets sold

10k waiting list supposedley

Assuming you have 42k season tickets for the new ground.

Say 5k for the away fans?

That leaves 13k on general sale.

It won't be easy to do 60k but a couple of thousand empty seats won't be an issue if we don't.

I'd be dissapointed if it's 50k tbh.

I think we're massively limiting our potential with that. Suppose there could be scope to expand but I'd rather we went 60k and risked a few empty seats.

Understand what Meis is saying though. Just think it kind of shows a lack of ambition.

The fanbase is growing year on year, to the point where we have a waiting list for season tickets now. A new ground should reflect that growth and I just hope it does.

Also, if you're going to consult the fans, who then vote overwhelmingly for a ground over 50k capacity, then deliver something that isn't? The fans will have a right to be very dissapointed in that.

I think it will end up being between 55 and 60k.

That'll be sound.

Imagine it not even being bigger than Newcastles ground.

I'm flapping it a bit now.

I kinda get the feeling we've been roped into this by Anderson and didn't quite realise the cost and difficulty in building an actual football stadium there.
