Joe Anderson on Twitter. I think a full stop after Commonwealth Games might have been handy.

But as often happens in saturated markets the newest squeezes out older facilities, as long as it's done well. Don't get me wrong it's not the be all and end all for me, but if it can be accommodated I think it will be good. The idea is thinking of similar to atletico (I think) allows us to have approx 60k plus as a football stadium then as athletics 40k it could be other things like American football, rugby, showjumping anything really. It could be sold on the aesthetics of a waterfront stadium.

If we are to make this move a total success we have to look to maximise all revenue streams and while the amount we gain will not be in the same range as we get for premier league matches it will be something.

My slight concern is I think that would only work with a bowl. Personally I prefer the separate stands. Although I do know that in itself would impact on income.

Anytime Athletico is mentioned as a sort of template, I think we're on the right track.

He was only answering a question someone asked in a tweet, to be fair to him. :)

$2 billion that cost.

It's obviously out of our spending power to get anywhere near. I thought it might trigger a response on our smaller stadium having a roof. Or whatever people have in mind. I know little about costing. I'll leave that to Farhad and his money launderers. :)
