In this day and age, where it is essential to use anything you can legitimately to get an advantage over your opposition -  the "one off" chance to design your home ground to suit you is a something Everton just simply have to exploit.

We ain't ever building another, so get this one spot on.

................the article says it will cost 27m max. to 'drop in ' the running track and remove it later. If LCC are paying the bill ,won't that cancel out any profits / benefit made in staging the games ?

See Mayors letter on page 134....

...............yes the letter says the CG will pay but in the Echo Joe says ' we ' will pay ,meaning LCC . So which is it ? Either way it's taxpayers money I guess.

Pretty sure it will be private money / sponsorship / TV money - to draw on the public purse to fund would be wrong.

Plenty on YouTube showing the demolition of West Hams and Spurs grounds - all a bit sobering.

Supposedly one if the reasons the Spurs new build sky rocketed was because they added to the original plans, added a hotel to it.

There are some very interesting videos on YouTube about the build - they have a lounge called "Tunnel Club" from which people can see into the tunnel... 2 season tickets 19 K ! ..... self service beer pumps and plumbing to deliver 10,000 pints a minute!

Never seen the appeal of standing for the whole game

Nor has Richarlison.

Happy with that, especially close to pitch etc,

I'd like to see  the entire roof a solar panel, save a few quid on electric

It's definitely a stretch to imagine me running out there as a player but one thing's for sure: I'll at least be there as an Evertonian,
