Have never actually sat in my season ticket seat, always stand in front of it or perch on the back of it
Glad I don't sit behind you.

Seeing as how Royal Liverpool is going to host the 2022 Open, it would be nice if they were showing some video of the spanking new ground at the docks during the broadcast. Don't you think?

Here they always show scenes from around the city for nationally televised games.

I don't think that matters for TV networks. At least not here it doesn't. I guess it's different there, but here they seem to highlight the picturesque sights around the city which the event takes place. For instance, in Los Angeles, games at Dodger Stadium of the LA coliseum always seem to include helicopter flights over the beach/Venice/Santa Monica Pier.

Of course, it's different here.  ;)

Itís not in Liverpool mate. The river Mersey and several miles of land separates it.

They showed the Liverpool waterfront on the opening of every single golf program when it was in Hoylake 2006. Well, they did on Caribbean television whilst i was there for it.

You guys complaining that it is not in Liverpool is a very odd statement to the rest of the world who couldnt give a fuck about local rivalries between boroughs.
The rest of the country even.

It's in Merseyside. Liverpool is in Merseyside. It's called Royal Liverpool.
It's all the same place to anybody who doesnt care about this local shit.

I doubt there is some Aussie in late June guffawing that the local channel is showing Big Ben in the opening sequence of Wimbledon because The houses of parliament aren't in SW19.

Apart from anything else thereís no chance of it being finished by 2022.
There are only two things I can't stand in this world. People who are intolerant of other people's cultures... and the Dutch.
