As there shouldn't be, really.

It's hard to get formal finance for something that hasn't been given the go ahead to get built yet.
I'm hoping we've been asking "if" questions around the place and have been getting positive feedback.
It's safe to assume we have multiple people saying yes (ranging from banks to people in manchester bedsits)
But until planning permission comes in, we have nothing to formally request funding for. Once it does, we will revisit those informal discussions and hopefully pull enough of them out of the bag to pay for everything.

They said on the website theyd announce funding at the same time pp went in.

Just thought Id missed it.
There are only two things I can't stand in this world. People who are intolerant of other people's cultures... and the Dutch.

I'm hoping that early in the new year the club announce that Usmanov has emptied the loose change out of his arse pocket and is using that to fund the entire project

I missed them saying that.

Not doubting you like, just that I wasn't aware a full funding brief was required at this stage.
Obviously I'm not an expert on what you need to have sorted to get something like this through planning permission though

quote from DBB .............
Professor Barrett-Baxendale also pledged to continue to engage with fans throughout the next phases of the project and provided an update on the clubs approach to funding and construction.

She said: Our stadium development team will continue to work on the process of selecting a contractor and finalising our funding solution, which wont be publicly revealed until after we have successfully gained planning permission.
We are special ,we are Everton.

Veeeeeeeey curious as to what the funding solution is going to be for the Megafon USM Bramley Moore Stadium
I knew that someday I was going to die, and I knew that before I died, two things would happen to me. That number one; I would regret my entire life, and number two; that I would want to live my life over again.

Dunno if you were setting my mind at ease there or misunderstood?

I was surprised that funding details was expected by people/that the club had announced it would be linked.

Suspect @Gash  has put his finger on why people may have misunderstood the official line

Funding will 100% already be sorted.
