Dunno, maybe? Although it's a bit high risk to test something out on 55k people, surely it wouldn't be open until its tested and signed off?

Ahhhhh if this is 2023 the schedule will be different because of the World Cup.

Does seem strange that theyíll not aim to have it open for the start of a campaign.
Hey there mister can you tell me what happened to the seeds I've sown
Can you give me a reason sir as to why they've never grown

You may week be right as it would be strange not to aim for the start of the season?

............ yes but I would imagine just for players & officials etc.,possibly hospitality guests . In the transport strategy it talks about   a 'soft closure ' 2 hours before ko increasing to a 'hard closure ' 1 hour later . The reverse afterwards . The soft closure allows for disabled drop off on Regent Road. .Crowd dispersal is going to be a challenge to say the least. Its all a few years off anyway ,things could change.

I think that's just about right for where we are at the moment. Be great to fill it everyweek and have a great atmosphere.

Don't think it's that uncommon.

Tottenham's was scheduled to open in September last season, if I remember rightly. They had their first few games all away from home because of it.

Between end of season and start of new season you have barely 12 weeks, that is too small a window to
aim for, there will be slippage once they dredge the lock and discover the unexploded bombs, bodies, ancient burial sites, Lord Lucan and supermarket trollies, and with this government were bound to have a general strike within that period.

The amount of detail is staggering.
Photos and a description of every artefact  e.g. bollards and capstans ,every eventuality covered from not showing red or green lights that might distract shipping to provision for widlife incl.bats.
And I never knew there were so many varieties of fish in the dock e.g.coal fish , pouting ,silver eel ,sole and plaice.
Three new pedestrian openings to be made in the dock wall btw.
