First time I've watched any Scottish football for a good couple of years. I'm watching Celtic now against Salzburg and the quality from Celtic is fucking abysmal.

I think Rodgers will/should walk at the end of the season, he's going to do himself more harm than good eventually. He's done well at Celtic but with little or no opposition, ten in a row, double treble's etc will all be a bit meaningless given Rangers troubles, their main rivals and only club capable of taking a title fight to them weren't even in the same league for three or four years.

Much as I'm not a fan of Rodgers, he's better than farting around in the SPFL in it's current state even if Rangers are getting closer.

So after signing a ton of players already and spending a lot of money (in terms of the Scottish league), Gerrard thinks they need to sign more players  ::) going to be a shit chequebook manager clearly

He spent his best years watching Benitez spend 20m on Aquilani so you can see where he gets it from.
I'm more trusting of fellas when they have my cock in their mouth

He's just aware of the main advantage his club have over all other clubs in the league; nothing wrong with that.

Money? They're absolutely skint and relying on handouts from wealthy fans. Their current business model isn't sustainable.

Great signing for them and Steven Davies going back as well. Just hope they've had their contracts paid up front before the club goes tits up again. :)

Kinell.

That could win them the league.

A Klopp/Gerrard double.

They're probably paying them from predicted season ticket sales for the 2026/27 campaign....

There's some people with deep pockets around the club but after their latest accounts were released it can't be a sustainable model to have. Maybe Gerrard's going to be new Redknapp and bankrupt a couple of clubs along the way. They've already had Kranjcar, now Defoe, maybe Crouchy's on his way too. :)

Rangers fans wanking themselves silly over the arrivals of Defoe and Davies, more so for Defoe. They're convinced these signings are winning the league for them.

Not convinced he'll do that well, probably be used more as a sub but he's hardly played in the last year or so and at 36 is going to take a bit of time to get back up to speed. I think Davies will probably turn out to be the better signing but then I said Klaassen would be a transfer success and Salah a flop last season so what they fuck do I know. :)

Oh and there's various rumours that some gangster mates of Gerrard's are behind some of the club's funding but I didn't think he had any such connections. ;)
