So Jagielka keeps his place?

James McCarthy not even on the bench. Wonder if he's picked up yet another injury.

Good strong team that especially with Barry and Gana string infront of the back four. Should be solid defensively baring a now regular Jagielka fuck up. Confident of a win now. But knowing our luck... 🙈😂

Anything like Swansea last week and it'll be another snoozefest.

Anyone else think that is a VERY ordinary looking Southampton team?

Dissapointed Davies isn't even getting on the bench.

just about to say that. Worrying that people say Koeman doesnt bother with youth. Is that true? I thought Southampton are known for bringing youth through the ranks?

I'd imagine captains do get a bit more leeway than others; and like with any position if there's no suitable replacement then it's less easy to make changes.

The U23's are top of PL2... if the First team squad needs refreshing he should give some of those lads a go.

Glad we've stuck with Lennon. He was anonymous last week but he's hardly played and he theoretically should be useful in these tougher games coming up.

Plus you feel like you've got more chance of changing the game with players like Mirallas Deulofeu on the bench.

The nice thing about Sunday games is that only half your weekend can be ruined.   :(

And NFL RedZone Channel comes in immediately afterwards today for me.  A welcome balm.

I would have liked to have seen more changes today, but I can see why Koeman would give it a second go with the midfield at full strength.
