I'd like to see a cup run but it's more important to me to see the team and club develop so I won't be distraught if we exit. Disappointed yes but not distraught.

3 at the back. Can't work out where Barkley plays though

Unless Coleman played right wing?

Two third round defeats at home to struggling sides in the cup this season though mate. Not good enough, really.

We haven't lost yet

How is not? Out of both cups and a 7th place finish at best? Exciting times..

If you could ever define a transition season then this would be it. Every part of the club is changing. Patience from fans would be helpful.

Bollocks

We need to bring in new players now, focus on consolidating 7th and hope  for a European spot sou that we can bring in better quality in the summer.

The fact that Kone and Robles were playing, and that Coleman was right wing should tell us all something.

We're shit.

Our squad is appalling. It's made worse because it was allowed to go stale.

If we can get 7th with this group I'd be over the moon.

Just listening to the BBC Merserside post-match phone-in.  Very shocked how stupid some of the points being made were.  And Ronnie Goodlass was at the same level.

On the squad - "just get rid of the dead wood, we all know who they are, they're not good enough, there's about 6 of them".  Yes great but that doesn't make your team better
On young players - "just play some of the younger lads" - yeah don't bother actually mentioning anyone, but "there must be some"
on transfers - "just get 'em in" - yeah that's how it works, you just click your fingers and it happens.  "he's had two transfer windows now", "what have they been doing for the last week?" ffs
on Leicester - "that Ndidi looked like a young Viera, only cost 11m.  Why weren't we in for him?" - played one game for them, maybe they'd done their work on the deal for some time? perhaps he fancied playing in the champions league?
