It's not on TV - West Ham v Man City is the live game that night.

The computer always seems to schedule this game for the coldest night of the year and the ground has it's own mini climate which is 5° lower than anywhere else. shakeyheadman

I hate this fixture. Always tough away at Stoke and they just picked up a 1-1 draw with United (nearly won it). But they will be looking at us thinking it will be a very tough game and because of our recent form we should really be getting something here. I think it will be a score draw.

Need the TV listings or a 'Not shown on TV' to be back to your perfect best!

Am I wrong or do we always seem to play Stoke on a grim, wet midweek fixture?
He's been devastingly underwhelming at goodison and seems to have developed a belief he can run straight through solid objects.

No, it's just Stoke is always grim and wet every day of the week every week of every year.

This shouldn't really be a tough game but I think it will be.
I reckon though we'll have them on the counter with Rom leaving Shawcross in his wake.
2-0 win.

They are a really poor side and I think we're going to hand out a big beating

Last 9 home league games they've won 4 drawn 4 and lost 1 so it's not as though they've been losing a lot of home games in the last 3 months. They have a few unpredictable players and Hughes' sides are generally inconsistent but when on a decent run they are normally solid and make the games tough.

The form we are in yes we have a good chance of winning, but not an easy game for sure.

Yeah, when did people start thinking these type of games were easy?

It's a cliche, but away from home no game is easy.

I'd be very happy with a win, but content to get a draw.

I think there types of games are the ones where if you're still 0-0 after 70 you just make sure you come away with at least a point.

Terrifies me when i see optimistic Evertonians - because i know they will be the ones most disappointed when we fuck things up. Like always.

The Stoke thing specifically though? They are the literal poster child for how hard the premier league is. This fixture is the one they say foreigners struggle with specifically
