This shouldn't really be a tough game but I think it will be.
I reckon though we'll have them on the counter with Rom leaving Shawcross in his wake.
2-0 win.

Mirallas and Lukaku are two of the best finishers you want as a front two in the league to be honest. When either of them are in on goal you don't feel they're gonna miss. The trick is to be playing them both in on a more regular basis now Mirallas is looking sharp again.

Mirallas and Barkley seem to have both decided that it's time to knuckle down or bust and I'm just pleased we're seeing the benefits of it.

Gana back for this one. Senegal eliminated thanks to Mane.

In theory. I doubt he'll play though, we're not that desperate to rush him back now.

A win here and we bizarrely go 8 pts off 2nd as things stand.

Every team around and above us dropped points this evening.....
It's tempting to start to check out the next few rounds of fixtures to see where we could make up points on the teams above us.

Then you snap out of it and realise it's Everton so tomorrow they'll snuff out that optimism with a dog shite performance and ruin it all.

A win genuinely does set up a great crack at a run in.

To be 8pts off 2nd with 45 points to play for and looking like we're coming into form at least means the team talks and midweek training sessions should have a goal in mind.
There's no dead wood around the place to drag everyone down, the players who are left all know they have a great chance of an extended run in the side so it's a perfect scenario to show Koeman they deserve to be a regular next season.

Please, please don't be typically Everton tonight and fuck us all over before it's begun.

You'd take 10 points off 2nd place at this stage of the season with a decent run of games coming up.

A point at Stoke is infinitely better than a point at home to Hull. The chase is still on.

Stoke is proper middle England.

The fact Paul Nuttell is taking residence there tells you all you need to know.

It's closer to Middle Earth.
