You're gravely underestimating Blackpool.
.......not really mate ,what I was meaning is Beckford could do well against players of his own level who have stepped up a division and stepped up very well. Credit where it's due ,Blackpool as a team have been a revelation but we should be too good for them. Their best player ,Adam ,would struggle to get on our bench.
We are special ,we are Everton.

But these aren't players of Beckford's own division he hasn't palyed in the Championship for about 4 years and when he did he was hardly great.

Anyway this weekends game is about one man and one man only... Phil Neville.

Hopefully the players won't underestimate them like some of our fans are already.

Same team as last weekend, with a tight 2-1 victory to us. Yakubu and Cahill for us, Varney for them.

Anyone who thinks Blackpool at their own ground will be easy has lost it and hasn't seen them play this season.  They are open at the back but that doesn't mean will walk over them.  We should beat them but then we should have beat a lot of teams.  A narrow win IMO.

If they manage to score i'll be horrified.

Against 9 men on Monday they were frankly played off the park for the majority of the 60 minutes they had two men spare.

Toothless in front of goal, wasteful in possesion and woeful at the back.

If we had someone up top who was in 20+ a season form id expect a 4 or 5 niller. As it is, an as comfortable 2-0 as you will see imo.

I'd just like to point out that saying that we should go there and beat them is not underestimating them, nor is it saying that it will be easy.

In my case it was merely a case of feeling that we're a superior team and that if we play like we should that we'll come away with 3 points.  This is based on watching us, and them, this season.

That doesn't mean that we'll just turn up and win, or that we don't have to try, or that there's no way that we could not win, it just means that I think we should beat them.  Which to be honest isn't a particularly outrageous, arrogant or naive thing to be saying.
