With no new injuries, Koeman has a nice problem on his hands, especially now Gana is back, Davies deserves to start again as does Schneiderlin and Barkley so where does Gana fit back in, also be interesting to see what he does with Lookman, start him ahead of Mirallas maybe?

would like to see the formation we had second half but Gana replacing McCarthy.

                     Robles
Coleman Williams Funes Mori Baines
      Davies Schneiderlin Gana
                     Barkley
             Lookman Lukaku

I dont think Mirallas is great anymore and I think he will be on Koemans 'hit list' in the summer for being replaced. Well, he'd not be playing if Bolasie hadnt got injured but I do think at the moment it will help lookman having sub appearances against tired defences while he gets used to the speed of the league.

I'd go back to a back 4 and have the shape we finished the Stoke game with;

Robles

Coleman Williams Mori Baines

Gueye Schneirderlin Davies

Barkley Lukaku Mirallas

Gueye in for Holgate.  That's the only change I'd make.
Cordiali saluti, motherfuckers.

Personally, I'd ease Gana back in and would leave him on the bench for this one. Bournemouth are usually quite open and let you play, so I'm not sure we need an excess of tackling midfielders to play them at home.

I also think it's harsh to drop Holgate based on one bad game, when he's been generally excellent otherwise. I agree with others that Lookman will start over Mirallas.

I'd go:

                       Robles
         Holgate Williams Funes Mori
Coleman                                     Baines
            Schneiderlin    Davies
         Barkley                   Lookman
                       Lukaku

Jeff: That's not the way to win.
Kathie: Is there a way to win?
Jeff: There's a way to lose more slowly.

Mirallas wasn't poor on Wednesday, but was heading towards that jaded average performance we see so often. Starting Lookman at home against a beatable Bournemouth, won't be the gamble of the century. Mirallas should be available to cover if Ademola bombs, but that's not something I'm expecting him to do though. Looking forward to this kids full debut. :)

Been a lifelong Everton fan and am finally making my first game tomorrow! I cant wait. Travelling from Ireland tomorrow and I'm bringing my 7 yr old son with me. Hoping he gets bitten by the blue bug, far too many red jerseys over here for my liking! Any tips or advice for our visit would be greatly appreciated.

God what's the little fella done to deserve a life sentence at 7?

Hope you have a great day. Maybe stick around afterwards and get some photos and autographs with the players? Seamus is bound to stop for a chat with a fellow countryman.

KOEMAN ON MIDFIELD AND KEEPER OPTIONS

Midfielders:

"Gana [Gueye] was one of the key players before, but everyone knows at the moment we have five good midfield players.

"It’s a tough decision for the manager but I like to have it.

"Yes I have made the decision, I always make it early.. but I won’t tell."

I watched the press conference and although I'm no expert, Koeman's body language told me that Gana will start tomorrow  :snigger:

Don't give your son a choice in the matter. He IS a blue now. Hope he has some great memories from his first game.
