With the game against Birmingham called off, I reckon we will have the upper hand in this game in terms of fitness. Todays announcement could work out well for us in our next two away games.

Does mean the central defence issue should be sorted.  I reckon we should take these if we play even close to how we have against City and Chelsea. 3-0

Is this a random attack on my character or do you have a point to make?

We always seem to play them this time of year and get an undeserved win. Their tails will be up after their 3-1 win today so let's hope they revert to crap form and we kick on from recent results. Saha might even score if played, he always scores against them.

Just read that Heitinga, Pienaar and Jagielka as are all back in the squad.

Now that is a read headache imho. I think thats a full squad apart from Vic.
 I would play.
           Howard
Baines Jags Distin Neville
     Rodwell Felliani
 Pienaar Cahill Osman
             Saha

Bring Arteta on around 60 mins and give Beckford the last 15-20 mins.

Tough choice for right mid, just think Osman is a better all round midfielder than Coleman. Saha is the best of a bad bunch imo.

Coleman's directness  and pace for me gives him the edge over Osman especially playing wide.

Just the fact that he's not Osman shades it for me

Out wide I'd now throw in Coleman over Ossie every game.

I'd rather see Arteta on the pitch from the outset, so he can start on the wing.
"There are no desperate situations, only desperate people."
"When we have lost everything, including hope, life becomes a disgrace, and death a duty"
"All truth passes through three stages. First, it is ridiculed, second it is violently opposed, and third, it is accepted as self-evident."

If Shorty is right I would love to see this line up.

Howard

Neville       Heitinga       Distin      Baines

Fellaini

Coleman              Rodwell            Pienaar

Cahill

Yakubu
I think we might see Rodwell behind Cahill though with Arteta coming into the middle.
