At least we finally have some official confirmation that we're actually in for him :)

I wouldn't trust your glibness with the pope. The DUP look sound though ;D

Put this through Google translate about five times and still have no idea what you are saying

Don't be a crank yo
There are only two things I can't stand in this world. People who are intolerant of other people's cultures... and the Dutch.

This is the politics of the UK. It doesn't affect you. That's why you don't understand the joke. Hence your glibness, is dismissed with nonchalance,

At times I consider idiocy something of a gift. Your input is marginal, but appreciated.

The Himalayas has the Yeti, Norway has Trolls, America has Hillbillies. You, good people, are blessed with Shropshire.

If chiding is so abhorrent, perhaps. :)

Can't do that with a release clause though - that's the point

Suarez had a release clause of "above £40m". That's why Arsenal bid £40,000,001.

But if you refuse to agree to the players registration transfer what are people going to do?
The only thing that can happen is the player can sue you (and your reputation in negotiations is tarnished).

But it takes months and months to sue someone. This clause in Contract law has never been tested in the courts so there would be loads of appeals (how long was Bosman out of the game for).

These release clauses are mandatory under Spanish football though. So I would imagine that there are things in place there that deal with this so that clubs don't fuck about. Could be wrong though
