Evertonian in NC

Barca alumni, Spain U-21s, 16 goals in La Liga last season for a poor team, wanted by Atletico.

yeah, the bust potential is really quite low.  Worst case is likely that he's just an average squad player.  He could end up really special, though.  All upside, this move.

The Under 20 England team would beat the Germany Under 21 team! (and the England under 21 team)
The England under 20's seemed maturer, or played with less fear, or actually knew how to play as a team.

They're just quoting a speculative article about all players that Madrid might be watching in the u21 tournament in Marca which only mentions that it's hear whispers they might be in for Sandro as Morata wants to go and possibly Ronaldo (who won't).

They (Marca) also have a bigger story on Madrid lining up a move for Mbappe.

I think the second part is (much) more likely for nothing else other than, as previously quoted, the Malaga papers stating it was all done.

I refuse to panic, but if Real Madrid do indeed want him then he goes there, simple as that, ill get over it instantly, unfortunately many wont

Not sure I agree. He ran his contract down at Barca to escape and play football. I doubt 1 year on he'd think the best option would be to put himself in exactly the same position at real. I think he'd prefer to be here with a clause so he can easily escape when the times right

I thought he'd signed and all we were waiting for was Spain to finish their campaign so he could focus on the announcement?
The best way to not feel hopeless is to get up and do something. Dont wait for good things to happen to you. If you go out and make some good things happen, you will fill the world with hope, you will fill yourself with hope. Barack Obama
