Shit news if true like
The was a report in, well, The Star, some bloke from Birmingham saying his son is out there on holiday with a couple of mates, were chased all around town last night because they were speaking English and mistaken for Everton fans. What I can't understand is that with Tourism being the major driver of the economy in Split why the authorities don't do more to prevent this sort of violence, if they start anything and hurt/injure any of our fans they will all start whinging why English tourists are not coming to spend money there.

Everton Mint

As well as their 'every trick in the book' football culture, their fans were the other reason I was unhappy we drew them.

Looks like I was certainly right on the second count.

Followed by a spontaneous ban of 25 years in all comps for Everton, on account of us being there at the time.

Aye, agreed, spontaneous decisions are combustible historically by those in charge when it comes to the boys in the royal blue jerseys (or whatever colour that was they wore against City).......but at least Rooney made the correct decision by telling Southgate were to go like.

From the presser- no Sandro or Klaassen available for selection.
McCarthy might be back after International Break

Easiest decision he's got I reckon.

Can't ignore him on this form.

Not a chance he's retiring with a World Cup on the horizon.

Please state there's not a chance Everton will win anything this year......

Depends what is meant by the word 'break' when talking about McCarthy.

Sandro and Klaassen out of both this and Chelsea

Until he says he's fit for Ireland, gets thrown in for 90 minutes and does his hamstring.

Looks like we've managed to get a training session at the ground tonight.

I'm probably in the minority but I'd like to see McCarthy get back to full fitness and take a spot on the bench. It would be nice to have the option of bringing on another deep midfielder who actually stays in position but can cover ground quickly when necessary.

We need to progress and consign the likes of McCarthy to the days when we had to accept players of his quality, or lack of it. As always the question is would he get into any top 10 PL side? No.  Even the Irish fans I sit with at Goodison think he is little use when he plays for their country.

Pickford
Martina Keane Williams Baines
Schneiderlin Davies
Lookman Sig Klassen
DCL

Rest Rooney, Jagielka and Gueye for the weekend. Start Sandro if he's fit but not sure what's goin on there.

Lookman and Martina worked well in the first leg.
