Koeman confirms that Rooney will start on Saturday

Has he done his press conference? It's not responding anywhere.

Yep, key points

-Disapointed in Rooney and he will be dealt with internally, he starts the game on Sat
-Has spoken to Barkley about Chelsea and told him the reasons he pulled out of deal
-Happy with the majority of the transfer window, said we were unlucky not to get option A or B of out striker targets and basically said there was no real point in buying a lesser striking option who wouldn't really improve the team
-Niasse is back in the first team squad basically because of his attitude but more because we didn't get what we needed during the window
-Mirallas needs to work hard and give us more competition for places
-Vlasic is one of the biggest talents in Europe

I didn't see that much in Vladic when he played against us. I didn't notice him very much to be fair. Time will tell I suppose. :)

I just want to forget about what I saw at Goodison yesterday.  Surely we can't play that badly, two games running. "Now where's that Atalanta thread". :)
