The devaluing of winning trophies

Within minutes of Everton getting "back on track' by reaching the 4th round of the League Cup, the mood was somewhat tempered by the news of an away draw against Chelsea.

If playing in the Cara Cup is a burden for CL teams then to omit the top 4 finishers in the premier should be implemented.
Three of last seasons top 4 managers have stated their reluctance to play in it,so maybe the governing bodies  may take a look at a new format.
Night comes down and finds you alone
In a space and time of your own
Lost in dreams in world full of shadows.

Why is it a burden for the CL teams but not the Europa teams? If you go down that route you may as well bin the premier teams out of it and call it the Johnstone Paint Trophy or something.

I know weīre all looking forward to tonight, as with any other european night but i just had a luck at the list of games on tonight and thereīs a shite load of teams I literally never even heard of before the start of this season. Add to the mix that the  failures from the champions league get to join in for the craic aswell. The europa league is a joke, even with the champions league spot up for grabs. Should sack it off. Some of the games are like watching england play fucking lichtenstein. In my opinion, a way to sort game clogging for the teams playing in europe would be  -  top 2 should make CL and 3rd and 4th make a new look EL.  Just donīt get it, whatīs the point in these teams being in it. English teams in EL have traditionally had a poor league campaign. Maybe this idea would help out with that at least. I know a lot of people will say itīs a bad shout because everton wonīt have much of a hope to get into europe but at least if we got there it would mean a lot more.

If they did that, winning the trophy would lose all meaning to a club like us.

The cups are actually shit. The same 3/4 teams win them every year. Should just attach a CL place to the cup prizes

Prem top 3 get CL and two cup winners have a playoff to get the final spot.

It's daft anyway. Champions league should be for the winners. Not teams that finish 3rd and 4th
