if you need a taxi at 4 a.m. Barry's your man

If he is dropped for this weekend's games, we should get him to park up outside Goodison, so at 4.45pm, the stadium announcer can say "Taxi for Allardyce!"

Evertonian in NC

Barry was an excellent stabilizing force, teacher for our young midfielders, and servant to the club while he was here.

He certainly doesn't merit any shitting upon.

Not shitting on him, far from it - his time is up and he probably knows it

Championship or retirement for GB? Place your bets

Maybe West Brom fans think he should have stayed at Everton, in line with many Evertonians

Great servant to Everton in the 4 years he was here. I was a little sad to see him depart but at the same time I thought Morgan Schneiderlin would have stepped up and filled his boots, I know which one of those two I would rather have playing for us now.

hells yes, him or a player like him

can play a pass, can read a game, doesn't shit out of tackles, bit of snide when required, pace or not can run a game from the middle of the park

colossal failure to let him go without replacing him.

ps may have been dropped from WBA but doubt its permanent

Whether we miss him or not has got fuck all to do with how he's doing now.

Of course we do miss him, and one of Koeman's biggest mistakes (and there are so many to choose from) was not replacing him.

Miss the player he was and that's the point - just like I still miss Peter Reid
