I'd be surprised if Wenger was looking to get straight back in  at PL level after all those years at Arsenal. His motivation would be questionable at that stage of his career.

Wenger links are everywhere at the moment. I don’t see us getting anyone else decent in at this time. This could be a good stop gap in the short term

..................links are everywhere ?  the story comes from the Daily Star FFS

Does it? I saw it on many different sites.

We are not the right club for Wenger as much as he is not the right man for us.

I am liking Slavisa Jokanovic more and more but we may be under the illusion we are too big for him . Given the way we have set up the academy and the players he has put his faith in and the playing style at Fulham I think he is worth a look at .

so many links in todays press...

I dont know if i like him, but i love his style of play also the name we desperately need, could attract countless players that we have no chance of right now..

Norwich 3-0 15th May 2016
Watford 3-2 5th Nov 2017

It sounds fucking ridiculous to me to be honest.
I knew that someday I was going to die, and I knew that before I died, two things would happen to me. That number one; I would regret my entire life, and number two; that I would want to live my life over again.

To be honest, I think it was 18 consecutive Champions League seasons that attracted players to Arsenal, not just Wenger.

Why would top players want to join mid-table Everton with no European football just because the (declining) manager used to have his team in the CL every year?

It's lazy arsed journalism cos Moshiri was at Arsenal, Wenger's lost what he had and the press see Everton as a little hand me down club (with justification based on our last appointment).
Jeff: That's not the way to win.
Kathie: Is there a way to win?
Jeff: There's a way to lose more slowly.

It would immediately put to bed any talk of Usmanov - he is believed to have wanted rid of Wenger for a while.

Our squad currently lacks a backbone and it has been a long time since he was able to instil one instil one into a team.
He's deffo a spent force like.

I just hope we can get someone in who knows what the fuck they’re doing and isn’t Fat Sam.
