I'd bring lennon & Mirallas back in, make it hard for these - get back to basics and frustrate them.

-----------Pickford

Kenny Jagielka Williams Baines

Lennon McCarthy Davies Mirallas

----------Rooney

----------Niasse

No gana, and presumably no schneiderlin so McCarthy may come back in with davies centrally, id drop keane & Sigurdsson for this, and give DCL and Vlasic a rest, or at least for the bench.

I'm going for a scrappy 1-0 win, with Calvert-Lewin harassing their centre backs for 90 minutes then bagging a late winner, followed by a celebration in which he logs on to NSNO and posts a cheeky selfie of himself in the "DCL - kidding ourselves" thread.

The pace that Palace and Watford injected into the game caused Chelsea problems . This is not high on their list of priorities . Davies , Lookman  , Miralls ,  Niasse and Kenny need to start this and don't give them time to settle .

Assisted by Sandro, who starts next to DCL in a proper 4-4-2.  Whilst a pilled-out American wears his #9 shirt.

Lids, we're gonna win the Caribou Cup, aren't we?

Ifs and buts.

If Chelsea play a weakened young team, and Unsworth gives his youngsters a run out, we could Nick this. Imagine the injection of confidence that would cause.
He is a Moyes dressed up in Ancelotti clothes.
