Major Clanger

As usual for his clubs, we'll be saved from relegation and will still somehow end up far worse off when he's eventually sacked.

Good, get it done. I hope he empties out 4 or 5 of the dross we are carrying in the process. Gives us time to appoint a better one maybe next season and put this blip  behind us.

Seriously though. If Sam Allardyce is the answer, then we're asking the wrong questions.

January to be full of 'experienced' signings who've battled against relegation previously

And will also have agents pally with Allardyce
James collins,Lee cattermole and Peter crouch all on their way lads

Who did Palace buy last Jan?

Sunderland?

Think he got players you wouldn’t have thought / heard of.

Plus, if this has been pushed by Walsh they’re more likely to be, potentially at least, the type of signings that Walsh was supposed to make.

He got Schlupp from Leicester. Van Arn Holt from Sunderland and Milevojevic I think.

Schlupp and Van Arn Holt could be considered then. That would be replacing Baines. Not sure if Palace will let any players go in Jan with the predicament they are in.
