Isn't going to happen though is it, do you honestly think anyone at Everton would approve of the appointment of Sammy Lee !

It'll be Craig Shakespeare. Walsh is surrounding himself with his people to keep himself In a job

Don't recall saying "not a shred of hope for survival unless we get Allardyce" ? Think you might be confusing this with my saying "unless things change fast"

I was paraphrasing, but your post seemed to be saying that you are confused by the fume, so I offered you an explanation. You did seem to be suggesting that Sam is the only viable option (as anyone better would be delusion?) and that we have to act now, which to me implied that you think we have to get Sam or else we are going down, and therefore the fume is foolish. Perhaps you could clarify what you actually meant if that was not it?

Finding it quite bizzare that people all of sudden reckon we'll be fine because of Allardyce, his record at Palace and Sunderland was shocking

Said it before, bring that corrupt, disgraced ex England manager into our club and we've effectively sold out and hit rock bottom.

Him and Redknapp have both been caught out trying to 'bypass' transfer laws, both having lined their pockets doing it, I swear people in football have the shortest memories on the planet...

I agree, although I don't think people we want are available. I suspect the hope would've been that Unworth showed enough to give confidence that he could do it until the summer, the reality is he's been woeful so their hand was forced. Its not ideal, but we needed to replace Unworth and fast

I agree, but Sam is not the way for me. If we really are in a state of 'survival specialist required' (which I don't think we are personally) then Pulis would be a better option. Also terrible football, not going to take us to the heights, play the averages with set pieces etc, but far less of a toe rag. Just to be clear, I do not want Pulis, just think he would be the lesser of two evils.

Pathetic appointment. Everything about it just reeks of shit housery.

- We just point out refuse to look abroad for anything. Managers and players. Which has proven an absolute expensive shambles since Moyes left.

- Allarydyce although hasn't taken clubs down, he leaves them in terrible positions.

- Assembles dross players meaning its a complete rebuilding task when he leaves.

- Will never ever push us on.

- Negative horrible football.

- Won fuck all. Isn't a winner.

We dont know what we are doing

Went from 6/4 to 1/5. Itís happening but anything is better than Unsworth and Ebrell.

It reached that a couple of weeks ago, and has since been back out beyond 15/1. Those odds have most likely been created by a load of bets being place on him today when at higher odds after Sky Sports sent a tweet.

Do Sky also own a betting company by any chance?

If he gets it, at least no one will have a problem with people going "ffs Allerdyce" in the match day threads and we'll all be united in hating him.

Until he wins the title with us next season because no one expects him to do anything other than save us from relegation.
