Wasn't exactly perfect tonight but I thought Holgate made an impression by being the only CB at the club with the ability to make a semi-difficult pass.

Rather have the balance of him and one of the other three than a combination of the latter.

Was going to make the same point myself.

Still makes some very silly errors but we look a lot more comfortable with his ability on the ball.

Him and Keane might work together.

Him and Keane might work together.

As opposed to Jags and Williams who are pretty much done.

Neither options are great TBH.

Exactly. I do agree that Holgate offers something else. Not only that he's finally played in his proper position.

He still reminds me of a muffin with that hair style of his though.

I like him.

Very similar to all the other you lads in the team, skilful, gutsy, though and not intimidated by reputations or situations.

Love to see us go back in for Duffy, exactly kinda CB we need beside Keane.. Dominant, intelligent and a ball player

Couldn't disagree more to be honest.

Proving himself a good player but the last thing we need is another CB that lacks quality on the ball ( and in my opinion he does lack that quality)

Id say Duffy is quicker, stronger and has better spacial awerness than most of our central defenders. Hed be a improvement, over a few, but hes not at the level we need if we want to challenge the top slots.

He doesn't appear to be quick to me
He is strong, and very good in the air

He's a proper old school cb for me
Simply simply lovely

Might work well with Keane because he has a bit of pace exactly what Keane lacks.
