That works I think. Rooney there would allow Gana to have someone next to him with a brain and allow Scheinderlin to sit in front of the back 4 and do what he was good at last season

I think half our problem has been due to Koeman encouraging Gana to get further forwards in general. He really needs to focus on remaining as that anchor. It seems to me he's pivotal in our defensive midfield. That I think, is what has weakened our defence. I don't feel Schneiderlin should play until he bucks his ideas up.

He’s never been an anchor player though. He gets around the pitch hassling the opposition.

Haha. I feel quite stupid now. I've no Idea where that idea manifested itself. ;D

Trying to come up with a good Schindler joke but I just can't get the right moment here.

Sure it will come, just put it down on your list. :)

The best from Ashley Williams for a long time. He doesn't look nervous for a change.

Happy with that. No panic and a professional display. I'm glad Sigurdsson had a better second half and good to see DCL with another goal. No shredded nerves after that. A good start for big Sam. :)

Probably not a popular opinion but I thought Williams and Martina were our best 2 players today

Also did 2 Ł5 bets

Sigurdsson first goal

Everton to win 2-0

Viva La Big Sam

Had that in the prediction league. 8)

Got up this morning. 10th in the league, back to back wins, a new manager and signs of things getting sorted. That first cup of tea tastes like Sunday morning.  ;D
