Allardyce: Everton ambition – not cash – brought me out of retirement

New Everton boss Sam Allardyce says it is the ambition of the club and not just the £6m a year he'll be paid which twisted his arm to come out of retirement at the second time of asking.

Fat Head : Nah, but thanks for the offer

Three days ago

Moshiri : Sam, it's Jim's mate Farhad again, fancy being our manager?
Fat Head : I told you last time, no thanks
Moshiri : We'll pay you 6m
Fat Head : Still not enough mate, sorry
Moshiri : No, wait, don't hang up....did I mentioned we have ambition?
Fat Head : I'm on my way pal!!

Seriously mate give it a rest
After everyone slated Barton's comments about Unsworth, the constant abuse of Allardyce because of his appearance is really quite grim.

We paid Koeman more and he produced nothing.

Not sure his wages actually matter, not like any of us as fans are paying them, not our money nor our problem.
If moshiri wants to spend it, he can do what he wants.

Hes backed the club in the transfer market, in improving Goodison and finch farm and with the new ground plans - what he pays in wages to a proven manager doesnt concern me in the slightest.

what money has Moshiri put into the club?  genuine question?

I know about the 80m loan to clear the debts, but what else has he provided from his own wealth?

not saying the 80m wasn't a substantial amount or anything not to be grateful for here, but other than what we got for the naming rights of Finch Farm, the sleeve sponsorship and the new shirt deal, we've pretty much spent what we brought in on transfers haven't we?

To be fair, the naming rights deal is pretty much Moshiri's too as Usmanov and Moshiri are BFFs who share everything...

"Having clearly failed to make clear to Allardyce the ambition of the club when he was first asked to become Everton manager three weeks ago, Allardyce was suddenly reminded of it when he was asked again with a higher wage offer."
