The current England team would annihilate that team. I don't really get the relentless negativity tbh. Southgate's done a good job, stuck with his ideas and principles and has picked a good squad.

Try and do with him what Germany have done with Lowe

Theo Walcott has never played a single minute at a world cup.

your correct,,, by competative tie i meant, something other than a friendly.. he scored a hattrick in a world cup qualifying match.

Unsworth has a 100% League record at home
Norwich 3-0 15th May 2016
Watford 3-2 5th Nov 2017
West Ham 4-0 29th Nov 2017

It wasn't aimed at you, or anyone in fact.

Just a little surprising stat.

Crazy to think he went as a 17 year old, although didn't actually play.

Not picked for 2010 and injured for 2014.

Theo has the highest win ratio of any England player ever. It's something like 70% - and he got almost 50 caps.

I've been watching the clips on bbc sport, they're doing a world cup countdown and showing a classic clip from past world cups everyday, some belter's in there.

I've just watched the Grosso goal in the semi for 06 and it's set me off.

Getting the all day sessions sorted with the lads now.

What a game for atmosphere and tension.

Sensational ending too.

I did my first draft of predictions comp at work this week and came out with Germany winning, beating France in the final.

I think they've gone full circle from looking at the squad and thinking it's not all that but they're the Germans so they'll win, to having an amazing squad which you think is the best around anyway, back to them being not so strong but still the Germans.  If that makes sense.

Doing the Panini album with the boy too.  He has a weird obsession with Japan and we got another Japanese player today so he's made up with it.

They're bringing out the champions league trophy at half time aren't they.
