I think 5 at the back sends out the wrong message - plus were always shite with 5 at the back, and we played that last season there and got bummed.

Can we win? Yes, its a football match 11 v 11
Will we win? No, it's a derby.
First time in my life I've ever said this, but if we can avoid defeat by less than three goals, I'll be happy. ( I won't be, but i'm expecting the worst  :'( )
It's probably the best way to think, I usually go into any derby thinking we can win, im definitely not this season so we'll see how that plays out

Wonder if Bolasie could make the bench for this? Sounds as if Mccarthy will

Allardyce will have a plan, we HAVE to start well and not concede early, that's the key to any kind of a result - hopefully we can frustrate them and give them a few kicks

If we show confidence without the ball, it'll be a contest.

If we freak the fuck out like we usually do, they'll beat us comfortably.
That's why im pleased Rooney will likely be captain, wont be hugging players in the tunnel like jagielka. Rooney wont give a shit, hes a winner - will probably go into one of the cunts early doors

You do realise if it's snowed off we we still need to play the game at some point, they won't just declare a 0-0 draw and move on. ;)
Suits me, coutinho will be gone by then

Believe it or not, the majority of my redshite mates arn't bothered if he does go, which I find a bit weird.
Ha! They weren't bothered if suarez/Alonso/mascherano/torres left either. Divs

Everton boss Sam Allardyce says Phil Jagielka and Michael Keane are back available ahead of Sunday's derby.
Hope to god jagielka doesn't play. He's finished, and used to losing at anfield, probably be hugging the redshite in the tunnel before the game. Rooney Captain. Same back 4 as last 2 in the league.

DCL will start, he's an out ball

I hope he doesn't go 5 at the back, were shite with 5 and it's basically saying come and attack us. 433/451. same back 4 which hasn't conceded together yet.

We could play 2-3-5 and we’ll still be saying come and attack!

Does he have any history of a back 5 (genuine question)?
Not sure, think he just favours 4231/451

He may be concerned at the way Liverpool are scoring so freely though and try the back 5, I wouldn't though personally think that's asking for trouble
