He's gonna have to win the World Cup and the US Open to get you onside

He did that at half time mate. Simultaneously while juggling 7 midges using his toes

Still found time to give Sandro's agent a brown envelope

Only had a one way ticket to Valencia in it mind, no money

I thought it was Everton's best performance in the Europa League competition since we started back in July. The attacking players like Lookman and Vlasic played very well, it was nice to see some pace injected into our team and the players definitely seemed up for it. I thought the general game management was very good. Limassol had some chances but our (makeshift) defence dealt with it all very well. We are still conceding quite a few silly fouls especially Klaassen right at the edge of their penalty box but overall a pretty good victory and a more positive performance.

So, we ended up finishing third in the group... does that mean we drop down into the Champions League now....?

I knew that someday I was going to die, and I knew that before I died, two things would happen to me. That number one; I would regret my entire life, and number two; that I would want to live my life over again.

Believe me, we win the Derby on Sunday and every single Evertonian will be buzzing off Big Sam

Whoever is responsible, the team is looking more solid now and tonight was just a bonus. Some good goals and minutes given to kids and players on the fringes of the team who needed it
You think Lou Bega knocked it out of the park with Mambo number 1?!No but he kept at it!

We scored 3 fairly good goal, had some strong spells were we moved the ball well. We also road our luck at the back, mo in particular was either shit or champagne.

All in all, not a bad night!

Entertaining game. Lookman and Vlasic were the best two on the park. Lookman was really up for it but his decision making was poor at times.

Feeney was good at the back, but they did get a fair few chances, which Robles was well up to.

Well played by the young ones. Nice way to cap off a horrendous europa campaign.

I don't take this as evidence of Allardyce or Shakespeare's genius at all.

On the contrary, I think it adds to the mounting evidence that the previous manager was an absolute shambles, that we have plenty of talent and that any vaguely competent manager would be able to get a decent tune out of the vast majority of our squad.

I think even Koeman is a little in shock of how awful a job he did in the second season and despite receiving job offers since his sacking he realises he needs to understand why things went so wrong in the last few months.

That's what happens when you surround yourself by yes men or family members though

He needed someone to tell him what was wrong

Very few managers employ people who will do that though
