Take that all day.  Wasn't pretty, we rode our luck, but we looked like we had an idea and a plan and we actually managed to stick to it and follow it through which 6 weeks ago just simply didnt look possible with the same group of players.

Good point that. Could've actually got 'em but cest la vie. Now, Merry Christmas Bluenoses! See ya on Boxing Day!
Well there may be no score, but there's certainly no lack of excitement here. As you can see, Nietzsche has just been booked for arguing with the referee. He accused Confucius of having no free will, and Confucius he say, "Name go in book". And this is Nietzsche's third booking in four games.

Would have taken a point before kick off. Crap match. We were lucky Chelsea were not at the races today. But we seem to be working more as a unit now. Which is better than before

That is the spirit of the Everton I know. Fucking nerves are shredded. ;D
As Tacitus said: "To plunder, butcher, steal, these things they misname empire: they make a desolation and they call it peace."

Good result that, they'd have taken four off us a few weeks back.

Take that all day.

Be arsed with all the comments of how we need to control games and dictate the play against one of the best teams in Europe.

Not pretty but against the big teams Sam's found out team. Every player today played for each other (didn't always pass to each other like) and got a great point.

Six games played, unbeaten with only two goals conceded. It's not pretty but it's progress.

Ugly and stubborn. Not a great watch but a great point.

Keane could of won it for us right at the end.

Have to question the decision to replace Lennon with Sandro I'm afraid. I know we have a game in 72 hours but if he had to change I'd of brought Niasse on. Sandro is absolute bobbins. No positional sense whatsoever and a woeful touch.

And players like Schneiderlin, Williams, and Keane are showing more like what we know they can do.  Gives hope that Sandro and Klaassen can turn it around too in the right conditions.

Similar to the game against the Shite really- plenty of ďopportunity ď for them but they did nothing with it. Defensively we are looking stubborn as fuck again, we just lack pace and control up top.

I love Sigurdsson, he must get in more sprints in a game than most of the league

Good discussion starter.  No one can score vs. Allardyce's Everton!  So job #1 complete in terms of escaping the relegation threat, now we need Barkley back and a few more attacking players and a top striker.  We won't have to park the bus when we get the quality players to push forward.

Defence: Playing out of their skins, very very good

Attack: Very poor today, hardly any attacks built

Such a lopsided team, need some real quality in the final third and it might all click

I think Barkley has played his last game for us unfortunately mate, think he's off to Spurs in January (unless they don't want to pay and get him for free at the end of the season)
Ahh.....Boucheenie i presume
